Derailed by illness
So, had to slow down a little bit, lost a couple of days due to illness, but got a little more information.
My understanding, to outsource my entire web design would potentially double my entire budget. I have gotten ballpark quotes that range from 60K to 140K.
None of the people involved seem to have built exactly what I am looking for.
I don't really understand how 150 hrs of design work + 150 hrs of programming work costs 100k. That's $300+ an hour. I am in the wrong line of work.

I strongly suggest makign sure your designers are not also offering hosting. Get a separate host, otherwise you are on the hook to going through a designer for later technical issues, and the natural conflict people have in giving up aspects of their work to others.
Thats helpful advice. Luckily I am wise to that one. I am questioning even having the designers do the programming. I dont like having to go through designers every time I want to do anything.
